The faded sign, the plastic curtains, the creeping greenery, all to sell fried chicken.
To trap visitors on their way to something more grammable. I know what you’re trying to do.
I admit I took this as we were waiting in line for an unagi restaurant.
When I checked online, this chicken specialty shop has been in business for over 90 years.
Years later, I do not remember the unagi.
But I remember the chicken shop that sells chicken feet.
Fun fact: Hita is also well known for its water, often awarded the ‘best tasting’ water in the world.
